“When I was your age, I used to jump ditches lengthwise”: a famous proverbial Italian saying, used by the elderly or adults to reproach young people for being lazy, unenterprising, or tired. It compares one’s own presumed “strength of the past” with the lack of will in today’s youth, emphasizing—without saying it openly—a “unlike you” comparison. More simply, it is a statement that does not necessarily guarantee truth.

Biography

Born in Camposampiero (PD) in 2002. She lives and works between Venice and San Martino di Lupari (PD). In 2025, she earned a First-Level Diploma in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where she is currently pursuing her Master’s studies in Painting.
