CreArt 3.0 is a project funded within the Creative Europe program. 13 European cities are involved in the exchange of experiences and good practices to promote contemporary art in all its forms: visual, performing, and musical.
CreArt 3.0 is an intense exchange program for emerging artists, curators, and cultural agents. Its purpose is to maximize the economic, social, and cultural contribution that creativity can provide to local communities.
The methodology of the project is based on 4 strategic axes:
● Coordination: management, communication plan, and conferences
● Participation: EU month of creativity, Street Art projects, educational programs
● Cooperation: AiRs, festivals, mapping of creative resources
● Mentoring: local capacity-building seminars
The Municipality of Venice participates in the project through the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation. Thanks to the long experience acquired over the years, it organizes an artist residency program at Palazzo Carminati. The Foundation will host 6 artists over the three years of the project.
Locally, the Young Artists Collective is also organized thanks to CreArt 3.0. On display are the works of young artists under 30 of any nationality who have decided to pursue their training in Venice.
Regarding training, the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation organizes seminars for schools, with guided tours of artist residencies. For professionals in the creative sector, workshops are planned to increase entrepreneurial skills and develop appropriate marketing strategies.
