The wind always leaves a footprint as it passes, a volatile mark that often remains an insignificant detail. Yet its footprint is present, constant. It slips unobserved between the branches of trees, among suspended leaves, blades of grass, sea waves, even among the invisible movements of insects. Of the wind, only the whistle remains, which changes and intertwines, giving breath to everything it touches. However, when its murmur fades, one must sharpen their gaze to catch its passage.

Anemografie, from the Greek ànemos (wind) and graphia (writing), or ‘signs of the wind’, takes shape in a series of shots filmed on the island of Pellestrina, more precisely within the Cà Roman nature reserve. This area, from Cavallino to Chioggia, separates the Venetian lagoon from the sea. The wind here is stripped of its most recognizable sense: sound; while its physical trace is highlighted, translating into a dance, a choreography.

Biography

Born in Trieste in 2002. Artist and illustrator, lives and studies in Venice. He studied at the IUAV University of Venice, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design and Visual Communication in 2025. Currently attending the Master’s Course in Visual Arts and Expanded Cinema at the same university.
