The work stems from an investigation into neurological development in children and their management of emotions in relation to borderline disorder in adults. Which areas of the brain and which parts of the environment in which one grows up are involved in the development of this disorder? The videos, in their simplicity, depict various actions, mostly children’s games, in an aseptic atmosphere. The combination of these two factors makes the moving images cold, gloomy, and deprives them of a lively and serene sphere. The sound design, which accompanies the videos, highlights this sinister narrative and arises from the combination of various songs. These were present in the artist’s childhood, sung by her own mother, as if to recall a lullaby whose words are no longer distinguishable.

Biography

Born in Castellana Grotte (BA) in 2005. Attending the first year of the IUAV University of Venice in the Multimedia Arts course.
